Empowering women

Empowered women play equally important roles in building a nation. Women empowerment refers to strengthening the social, economic and educational powers of women. It refers to an environment where there is no gender discrimination and women have equal rights in the community, society and workplaces and that they can play their part independently and comfortably. However, in doing so, women in our part of world are confronted with the issue of the inherent superiority complex among males, high level of domestic responsibilities and restrictions to participate in social, economic and religious activities.

The solution to this gender-based inequality could be educating men and women through mass campaigns and it is very important. Both women and men should be made aware of their responsibilities to promote and practise gender equality. Moreover, society should be made aware that both, a boy child and girl child are equal, and they both should have equal access to resources.

Let us promote this equality for the betterment of our nation and put our country on the path to prosperity.
