Over 800 million rupees will be spent on development schemes in loralai district through local government representatives.
Official sources told Radio Pakistan on Tuesday that the proposed schemes pertain to education, health, potable water, agriculture and farm to market roads.
The sources added that a major chunk of the funds will be invested on education and health, which is more than 300 million rupees.
The sources further stated that new water supply schemes and hand pumps will be installed in the big cities and rural areas of the district to meet scarcity of drinking water and resolve the problem on a permanent basis.
