Pakistan to continue support to UNICEF in improving conditions of water, sanitation: Zahid

Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid has said that Pakistan will continue its support to United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in improving conditions of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in the country.

He was talking to UNICEF Representative in Pakistan, Ms. Angela Kearney who met him in Islamabad on Monday.

Ms. Angela Kearney appreciated the Pakistan role to establish a cell at Ministry of Climate Change in this regard and offered the services of UNICEF to the Ministry which will helpful to organize the South Asian Conference on Sanitation.  Pakistan will host the SACOSAN VII next year.
